At SoCo Giving Hearts, we know that when a family is struggling financially, birthday celebrations may be one of the things they simply can’t afford. But a family going through a hard time shouldn’t mean a child has to miss out on feeling celebrated.
Our Birthday Box Program helps parents and caregivers create a special birthday for their child by providing birthday essentials and gifts at no cost to the family.
It may seem like a small thing, but to a child, having something to open, a cake to celebrate with, and knowing someone remembered their birthday can mean everything.
Our goal is simple: to make sure every child we can help gets to feel seen, loved, and celebrated on their special day. 🎂❤️

Individuals, businesses, churches, and community organizations can help support our Birthday Box Program by making a monetary donation, donating birthday supplies or gifts, or purchasing items from our online wish list.
Something that may feel small to you can mean so much to a family going through a difficult time. Your support can help give a child presents to open, a cake to celebrate with, and most importantly, the chance to feel remembered and special on their birthday.

Our Birthday Boxes include the basics needed to help make a child’s birthday feel special. Each box is put together with care and based on the child’s age and interests whenever possible.
What’s included may vary depending on the donations and supplies we have available, but Birthday Boxes typically include:
Cake mix, frosting, disposable pan
Candles
Decorations
Gifts
